HEARTY CONGRATULATIONS to both Glenda Norris-Palmer from Tokoroa/Putaruru clubs, and John Mead from Central Cambridge club on passing their Level 1 Umpire's exam recently at Te Awamutu bowling club. Welcome aboard our Umpire's Fraternity, and many thanks for taking on this role for the betterment of bowls.

Also BIG CONGRATULATIONS go to Ian Bardsley from Claudelands club on passing his Level 2 re-accreditation again.

Grateful thanks go to Margo and Brian Watson from Te Kuiti club for successfully tutoring these candidates. Margo and Brian are our Head Tutors and really do prepare their candidates thoroughly. Ian Bardsley assists in this role and this year Graham Gunn from Huntly club put his hand up to assist too
